The Vegas Golden Knights have locked up one of the NHL’s elite centers, re-signing Jack Eichel to a six-year extension worth $15.5 million per season with a no-movement clause.

The 29-year-old appeared in all 82 games during the 2025-26 season, recording 88 points (37 goals, 51 assists) and a +11 rating. The upcoming season will be Eichel’s sixth with Vegas after arriving from Buffalo during the 2021-22 campaign.

Eichel will look to help the Golden Knights rebound after a disappointing season that saw them finish 16th in the Western Conference and miss the playoffs.
