LOS ANGELES, CA — Roope Hintz scored twice, and Jake Oettinger made 30 saves as the Dallas Stars defeated the Los Angeles Kings 4-1 in Game 4 at Crypto.com Arena, taking a commanding 3-1 series lead.

The Stars struck early in the first period, with Tyler Seguin opening the scoring at 4:03 and Hintz adding another at 11:01. Anze Kopitar responded with the Kings’ lone goal, cutting the deficit to 2-1 before intermission.

From there, Oettinger took control. After a scoreless second period, Hintz netted his second of the night with 6:56 remaining in regulation, and Colin Blackwell added another late to seal the victory.

It has been a difficult series for Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper, who has allowed 16 goals through four games (4.02 GAA). During the regular season, Kuemper posted a 2.83 GAA and .913 save percentage across 71 appearances.

At the other end, Oettinger has been steady, carrying a 2.57 GAA and .923 save percentage through four playoff games.
