ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Hawks picked up their third straight win since being eliminated from NBA Cup play, defeating the LA Clippers 108-99 at State Farm Arena.

C.J. McCollum and Zaccharie Risacher led the way with 18 points each. Jalen Johnson recorded his 14th double-double of the season, finishing with 16 points and 21 rebounds.

Kawhi Leonard scored a season-high 35 points for the Clippers, while Bradley Beal added 17. Darius Garland, who entered averaging 21.9 points per game, was limited to 15.

Los Angeles led 18-15 after the first quarter, but Atlanta seized control in the second with a 33-20 run to take a 48-38 halftime lead. The teams played evenly after the break, allowing the Hawks to maintain their cushion.

The loss snapped the Clippers’ three-game win streak.
