INDIANAPOLIS, IN — The Los Angeles Sparks welcomed Dearica Hamby back to the lineup in impressive fashion, as the veteran forward posted a double-double to lead a 95-87 victory over the struggling Indiana Fever at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Playing for the first time since May 25 after missing nearly a month with a bruised left hip suffered against Chicago, Hamby scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in a strong return.

Kelsey Plum led all Sparks scorers with 24 points and 5 assists, knocking down 4-of-8 shots from three-point range. Azurá Stevens added 7 points and 10 rebounds as Los Angeles improved to 9-7 on the season.

The Sparks found their rhythm from beyond the arc, connecting on 14-of-33 three-point attempts to keep Indiana’s defense on its heels throughout the night.

Aliyah Boston recorded a team-high 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Fever, but Indiana continued to struggle without injured star Caitlin Clark, who remains sidelined with a broken right finger.

The Fever fell to 2-13 with their fourth consecutive defeat, unable to keep pace with a Sparks offense that consistently stretched the floor and capitalized on open looks from deep.
