Tigers Organization 2027 Season Notes
July 31 — The Tigers (65-47) will close out July with just a one game lead over Cleveland (64-48) who crushed the Angels 13-0 in their July finale. The Guardians finished the month winners of 6 of their last 10 while the Tigers went 4-6 over their final 10 games. The two teams face off one final time mid-August in a 3-game series at Comerica Park.
June 6 — Yandy Diaz hit 3 home runs and Tarik Skubal throws a complete game in the Tigers‘ 11-3 win over the Royals in the final game of a 3-game series at Kansas City. Diaz finished 4-for-5, 3 HR, 6 RBI. Skubal struck out 8.
June 2 — Erie SeaWolves CF Trei Cruz suffered a torn groin in game against Reading and will miss the rest of the season.
May 6 — Framer Valdez throws Tigers‘ first complete game of the season in a 2-0 win over White Sox. Valdez scattered 3 hits over 9 innings, struck out 7 and walked 1.
April 23 — Erie SeaWolves SS Izaac Pacheco suffered a torn MCL in game against Akron and will miss the rest of the season.
